Loveless flew choppers in Vietnam, attack helicopters. And he can count at least five times in his career that he crashed, the first time he should not have survived. A helicopter pilot for Gen. Westmoreland and Gen. Abrams in Vietnam, his history of service is indeed an amazing one to hear.
